In 1988 Dr. Saffarpour was one of the few students who were accepted to the National University of Iran, Tehran’s dental program, the best in the country.

In 1994, after completing her education, Dr. Saffarpour established a dental clinic within the medical facility of the Kidney Foundation of Iran.  She took care of the dental needs of medically compromised patients in the clinic while also working as an associate dentist in a successful private practice. 

In 1996, Dr. Saffarpour relocated to the United States.  After giving birth to her son, she enrolled in the University of California, Los Angeles for California state dental board preparation courses, such as Clinical Intensive Review and Restorative Techniques.  She successfully completed the National Dental Boards and California State Boards restorative technique and clinical exams.
